Chairman of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) Hassan Fahmy has signed a memo of understanding with the Arab Investment and Export Credit Guarantee Corporation (DHAMAN) Director Fahd Al-Rashid.
Dhaman provides insurance coverage for Arab and Foreign investments against non-trade threats such as riots, wars, confiscation and so on.
The MoU aims to increase and lure investments to the Egyptian market, said Fahmy.
Dhaman is an autonomous Arab regional organization established in 1974 as a joint-Arab agency encompassing all Arab countries and a number of Arab financial institutions, with its main seat in Kuwait.
DHAMAN aims to promote capital mobility into Arab countries and to enhance Arab exports worldwide.
