
Head of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) mission in Yemen Saad Al-Araifi met Thursday with Yemeni President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, local media reported.
During the meeting, Al-Araifi ensured the Gulf states' continued support of Yemen's stability at the current stage, to help the country overcome challenges and support the President Hadi's efforts and steps he is taking to find an exit out of the country's crisis, according to Yemen News Agency (SABA).
Al-Arifi also commended the recent outcomes of the Yemeni national expanded meeting, as well as the national presidential panel's initiative to end the country's crisis and attain the people's aspirations toward security and stability, added the reports.
The Yemeni leader lauded Gulf States' supportive stances toward his country at various circumstances, as well as their efforts in implementing the National Dialogue Conference's resolutions that aim at redefining Yemen's future and modern state, which is based on justice, equality, partnership, and wise ruling.
The two sides also discussed relations between Yemen and GCC countries, in addition to latest updates on national arena.
