
Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Abdul Latif bin Rashid al Zayani met Sunday with Yemeni Foreign Minister Abdel Malek al Mekhlafi in the Omani capital Muscat.
The meeting took up the latest developments in Yemen as well as efforts exerted to resume consultations that took place in Switzerland under the supervision of the United Nations (UN) Special Envoy to Yemen Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed.
The two sides discussed also the attempts carried out to allow humanitarian aid to reach the Yemeni people so as to alleviate their suffering.
