Chief delegates to the Consultative Commission of the Supreme Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) met on Monday evening to debate the preparations for the 133rd ministerial meeting.
The meeting, chaired by president of the 17th session of the Commission Abdullah Beshara, discussed the implementation of decisions of the 34th session of the Supreme Council, hosted by Kuwait in last December.
The discussions also dealt with the GCC draft single visa system, the human development and the progress of GCC integration.
The chief delegates are to present draft recommendations to the joint meeting of the GCC ministerial council and the Commission, due in Doha tomorrow Tuesday.
Kuwait delegation to the 133rd GCC ministerial meeting will be led by First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.
The Commission was set up by decision of the 18th session of the GCC Supreme Council, held in Kuwait in 1997, with a view to expanding the scope of senior-level consultations among the GCC member countries.
