
Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Secretary- General of the Gulf Cooperation Council of Arab States, GCC, has said that the GCC foreign ministers will hold a meeting with US Secretary of State, John Kerry in Manama, the Kingdom of Bahrain, on Thursday to prepare for the US- Gulf Summit to be held in Riyadh on April 21st in the framework of the strategic partnership between the two sides.
In a statement yesterday, Al-Zayani said that the meeting will discuss the results of work groups based on the results of the Camp David Summit in May 2015 to discuss the promotion of US-Gulf relations in various political, defence and security and economic fields, as well as the latest developments in the region and the efforts being made to resolve the conflicts in Syria, Yemen, Iraq, Libya and the fight against terrorism, in addition to regional and international issues of common interest.
