GCC interior ministers conclude 16th consultative meeting

GCC interior ministers on Wednesday concluded their 16th consultative meeting under the presidency of HE Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al-Thani at Sheraton Doha Hotel.

At the end of the meeting, HE the premier addressed the audience and voiced his gratitude and appreciation of the ministers, stressing that a spirit of fraternity and constructive work prevailed during the meeting through the sound opinions and valuable discussions of the ministers, which resulted in "reaching the desired decisions to achieve the hopes and ambitions of our peoples toward more security and stability." HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser hailed the efforts of the GCC general secretariat, on top of which GCC Secretary General Dr. Abdullatif Al Zayani and the staff of the general secretariat in preparing for the meeting.

Concluding his speech, HE the premier thanked the GCC interior ministers, expressing hope to see them again for the 34th meeting in Qatar.
