
Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Assistant Secretary General for Legal Affairs Hamad bin Rashid Al-Merri hailed the positive outcome of the 35th GCC Summit, which was held on last Tuesday (December9) in Doha, Qatar.
He extended thanks to the leaders of the Arabian Gulf states for endorsing the landmark GCC Human Rights Declaration. In a statement today, he paid tribute to the GCC leaders for their keenness on asserting these fundamental rights which stem for the Islamic Sharia and which are stipulated in national laws and legislations in compliance with the international covenants. He affairs the drive off all GCC member states to serve their people and achieved their cherished aspirations to enjoy a decent and stable life.
