
The Director General of the Gendarmerie Department, Major General Ahmad Al Sweilmiyeen, discussed on Tuesday with a number of accredited Military Attachés to Jordan ways to promote security and training cooperation.
Sweilmiyeen stressed the importance of such meetings to promote the existing collaboration between the Kingdom and other countries, which will reflect positively on Jordan.
During its visit, the delegation had an overview of the command and control center of the gendarmerie, which is equipped with the latest technology to keep pace with technical advancements and follow-up on security related events.
The Iraqi Military Attaché, on behalf of the military attachés, praised the outstanding level reached by the gendarmerie regionally and internationally, and the important role played by the department in maintaining the security and stability of the Kingdom.
