
Undersecretaries of Information Ministries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) meet in Kuwait tomorrow to prepare for the Information Ministers' meeting, due next Wednesday.
Khaled Al-Ghassani, GCC Assistant Secretary General for Cultural and Media Affairs, said in a statement Saturday the undersecretaries would prepare the agenda of ministers' meeting as well as discussing the media strategy of the six GCC member countries.
He said the media bodies played an important role in boosting the national identity.
The undersecretaries, added Al-Ghassani, would discuss outcome of meetings with Jordan and Morocco regarding media coordination and cooperation.
