Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) justice ministers discussed here on Wednesday an extradition agreement and a potential legal and judicial cooperation agreement between the GCC members and other countries or international groups, a senior Kuwaiti justice official said.
During their 26th meeting held here today, the GCC ministers thrashed out recommendations produced by the 18th meeting of GCC justice ministry undersecretaries hosted by Kuwait in September, Undersecretary of the Justice Ministry Abdulazeez Al-Majid said in news statements on the sidelines of the event.
They also considered a set of subjects and topics pertinent to legal and judicial cooperation among all the six GCC member states, the Kuwaiti official pointed out.
Al-Majid noted that the recommendations made by the GCC ministers of justice today would certainly lead to the promotion and development of Gulf cooperation in the field of justice.
