The Palestinian movement of Hamas denied news fanned by local mass media about communications carried out by the movement with the Palestinian factions in the Gaza Strip concerning forming a high committee to administrate the enclave.
In press statements on Friday, Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri denied such news, adding that there are communications to form a committee to follow up implementing the reconciliation and agreements related to employees and crossings.
Al-Quds Newspaper had quoted sources as saying that Hamas suggested forming a high committee to administrate the strip after the reconciliation government gave up its responsibility concerning general files in Gaza.
