
The Hamas government in Gaza described Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas's decision to seek membership of 15 UN agencies and international treaties as "good", noting that it should have been taken place a long time ago. Spokesperson for the Gaza government Ihab Ghussein said in statements to ALRAY News Agency late Tuesday: "We were expecting Abbas to announce the cessation of negotiations forever in response to the Zionist intransigence, and the return to the implementation of the reconciliation agreement between the Gaza and West Bank governments immediately."
