Hamas thank Qatari emir for huge contribution to rebuilding Gaza

 The Amir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received two phone calls from Hamas politburo Chief Khaled Meshaal and his deputy Dr. Ismail Haniyeh, official media reported Sunday.
During the phone conversations, Meshaal and Haniyeh expressed their gratitude and appreciation to Sheikh Tamim for the USD one billion support provided by his country today during the international donor conference for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip in Cairo, according to Qatar News Agency (QNA).
They have also praised the Amir, government, and people of Qatar for their continuous efforts in favor of the Palestinian people and the Palestinian cause.
Meanwhile, Sheikh Tamim affirmed that his country will spare no effort to support the Palestinian people's resistance and solidarity to restore their legitimate national rights, primarily their right to establish their independent state on their national land with Jerusalem as its capital on the basis of the two-state solution, in addition to reaching lasting and comprehensive peace in the region.
