
A delegation of Popular Current, led by Hamdeen Sabahi, and Dostor Party, led by Hala Shukrallah, met on Monday with Prosecutor General Hisham Barakat to call for releasing those detained in custody if not convicted.
They called for releasing member of Popular Current Amr Adel and also Sanaa, daughter of human rights lawyer Ahmad Seif al-Islam, as well as Mohamad el-Beliy and Fekria Mohamad aka (Rania el-Sheikh) who were arrested during the Ittihadiya incidents.
In the meantime, Barakat ordered to investigate the memorandums submitted by Sabahi.
Member of National Council for Human Rights (NCHR) Georges Ishak was also present.
