Heavy shelling and armed clashes in Fallujah

A security source in al- Anbar province said that the city of Fallujah is witnessing this evening heavy shelling by military units . The source told / NINA / that the military units stationed outside the city of Fallujah renewed violent shelling with heavy artillery and tanks at the neighborhoods of al-Shuhada’,al-Askary, Nazal, Golan and street / 40 / , which led to damaging a large number of houses . The source did not clarified the size of casualties as a result of the shelling , with armed clashes broke out between the army and armed groups east of Fallujah near the international highway.He pointed out that the clashes, in which mortars and / RPG 7/ rockets as well as various weapons are used without knowing the size of the human and material losses as a result of the clashes.
