
The High Egyptian-Algerian Committee met on Thursday under Egypt's Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab and his Algerian counterpart Abdelmalek Sellal.
The meeting discussed ways of boosting cooperation at all levels.
Following the meeting, the two sides are expected to sign a number of deals and executive programs covering cooperation in many sectors such as the development of exports, construction, and maintenance of airports infrastructure as well as in the media field represented in Egypt's Middle East News Agency (MENA) and the Algeria Press Service (APS).
The preparatory follow-up committee of the joint ministerial committee met on Wednesday under Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukri and Algerian Foreign Minister Ramtane Lamamra.
The joint meetings aim to bolster bilateral cooperation and develop a unified and clear vision on issues of common concern, especially counter-terrorism efforts and the latest developments in the region.
