The Observatory for Anomalous and Takfiri Fatwas of Dar al Ifta said a decision by the terrorist group Daesh to establish an FM broadcast in Afghanistan represents a dangerous development.
In a statement on Tuesday, the observatory said the terrorist group has been trying to broadcast its propaganda campaign in Afghanistan to influence the Afghan people after, in the past, used the same tool in parts of Iraq.
It warned that the terrorist group possesses a wide media experience, which should be confronted through coordinating efforts to stop the spread of the extremist thought.
Media reports said days ago Daesh was transmitting hours of extremist propaganda into homes deep in one of Afghanistan's biggest cities for the first time.
The so-called "Voice of the Caliphate" has been carrying "lots of revolutionary propaganda and fatwas" calling for followers to kill anyone who stands in the way of Daesh since earlier last week, said Afghan officials.
Most Afghans do not have televisions and radio is the country's most powerful form of mass media.
