Imams and all affiliates of the Sunni endowments extended thanks and gratitude to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the government, led by His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, for the quality step taken in shutting down some touristic outlets at four-star hotels due to their legal and moral violations.
The religious clerics voiced their full support to the decision which reflects the political leadership’s keen interest to root out all practices found in breach of Islamic precepts, moral values and Bahrain’s inherent traditions.
They stressed that the Islamic precepts are the guarantor of real development, pointing out that commitment to the religious values gives impetus to the comprehensive development process and earns it popular support.
They also paid tribute to the political leadership for always setting the most wonderful examples in preserving Bahraini fundamentals and rooting out what contravenes with the Islamic religion.
