
The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Permanent Mission Office to the United Nations Office in Vienna (UNOV) was inaugurated.
Qatar's Ambassador to the Republic of Austria and its Permanent Representative to the International Organizations in Vienna, HE Ali Khalfan Al-Mansouri, along with his GCC counterparts took part in the opening ceremony.
HE Al-Mansouri said the opening of the new Office would highlight the GCC march and achievements in various fields, raise the level of cooperation and unify the GCC member states' positions towards various questions and issues.
Such an event comes as a culmination of the efforts being exerted by the GCC towards coordinating and cooperating with the United Nations, the Qatari diplomat added.
