
The Egyptian Embassies in African capitals have witnesses intensified activities.
In a report by the Foreign Ministry, the embassy to Zambia organized a visit of a delegation of Egyptian businessmen specialized in the field of agricultural investment.
They met with a number of officials and representatives of the private sector in Zambia to discuss exporting agricultural equipment.
The delegation held a get-together with the Zambian agriculture minister who underlined his country's keenness on attracting Egyptian investments in this field, said the statement.
Meanwhile, Egypt's ambassador in Addis Ababa Mohamad Iddris met with agriculture commissioner in the African Union who offered congratulations to Egypt for unfreezing its activities in the union and its participation in the African Summit held lately in Malabo.
Iddris underlined Egypt's keenness on promoting cooperation with the African nations in the various fields.
Egyptian Ambassador in Gabon Hisham Moustafa met with mayor of Libreville where they probed means of enhancing bilateral relations especially in the local administration sector.
Egypt's Ambassador to Sierra Leone Amr Abdel Monem Moussa held a meeting with the police chief there who thanked the Egyptian government for offering support to his country.
Egyptian Ambassador to Senegal Mohamad Maher met with the diplomatic counselor of Senegal's president who underscored Egypt's important role in Africa, the Middle East and the Islamic world.
