
Egypt's Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghafaar on Sunday received Secretary General of the Arab Interior Ministers (AIM) Council Mohammed Ali Koman.
Koman is currently visiting Cairo to discuss preparations for the annual session of the AIM Council, slated for March at the General Secretariat headquarters in Tunisia.
The two sides also discussed ways to boost joint Arab security cooperation in light of challenges posed by the current stage on the security agencies in the Arab countries.
The talks also dealt with topics scheduled to be discussed during the AIM session.
Abdel Ghafaar called for boosting cooperation between Arab security agencies to expand exchanging information related to terrorist entities, their headquarters and funding sources.
