
Egyptians' support for the efforts exerted by policemen steels their resolve to exert more efforts and sacrifices to stabilize their nation, the interior minister said.
During a meeting Tuesday with his aides, Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghaffar hailed cooperation between civilians and policemen, noting that this is quite clear in the security achievements realized over the past period.
He urged furthering cooperation between civilians and policemen.
Abdel Ghaffar told his aides that the coming stage requires hard work, commitment to law and respect of human rights.
During the meeting, he greeted his aides on the National Police Day and called on security leaderships to follow up the situation on the ground and hold periodical meetings with police forces to attain the security plans' goals.
He also ordered upgrading services offered to civilians, especially elderly people and handicapped.
