Interior Ministry: Security unit on Tunisia’s Kerkennah Islands attacked

The Tunisian Interior Ministry said on Friday that about 250 persons attacked a security unit stationed in the vicinity of Sidi Youssef port on Kerkennah Island.
According to a statement, the attackers used stones and Molotov cocktail to attack the security personnel.
Two cars and a truck were burnt down while another police vehicle was thrown down into the sea, the statement said.
Also, the group set fire to a police station in Ataya area as two offices used by the police were touched off during the attack on the port, the ministry added.
