
The Iraqi Foreign Ministry informed the Iranian Ambassador in Baghdad Hassan Danaeifar its official protest on allowing Iranian visitors into Iraqi lands by the Iranian authorities without getting visas to perform Arbaeen visit in Karbela in southern Iraq.
The Foreign Ministry reiterated that the Iranian side should not allow those with no visa to get near the border lines.
The Iraqi Foreign Ministry issued more than 1.5 million visas to Iranian visitors who want to enter Iraq via 15 offices and missions in several areas inside Iran, Spokesman for the Iraqi Foreign Ministry Ahmed Gamal said in press statements on Tuesday.
