Iraqi army kills 6 Daesh snipers in Anbar

Iraqi troops killed Tuesday six snipers from the Daesh terrorist group in Ramadi, the capital of the Iraqi province of Anbar, Iraqi sources said.
This came as military reinforcements were sent to areas in the western province ahead of a major operation.
Backed by tribes, the Iraqi military conducted a major operation, targeting Daesh militants in Anbar.
"Six Daesh snipers hiding in tunnels were killed," the sources said.
