Iraqi forces alliance demanded to enact a law criminalizing the known militias and put them on the list of terrorist organizations.
MP, of the Alliance, Salah al-Jubouri said in a news conference attended by a number of MPs of the Alliance that "yesterday witnessed a new tragedy of tragedies of death and pain added to the record of horrific disasters, targeting innocent Iraqis and spill their blood and lost their lives without guilt or fault at the hands of coward terrorist militias that failed to face its counterpart the Islamic State (IS) therefore they began to retaliate unarmed civilians."
He added that "what happened yesterday at Musab bin Omair mosque is a criminal act by terrorist group and we have reservations to mention its name and identity despite receiving information almost certain about this group and even who led and carried out the crime."
Jubouri continued that "the Iraqi forces alliance demands its partners in the political process and the international community to enact a law criminalizing militias and enroll it in the list of terrorist organizations like its counterpart ( al-Qaeda and Islamic State) and hunt down its leaders and its members and issue arrest warrant against them immediately and detected, within a week, at the latest time for the perpetrators of the crime of Musab mosque and bring them for justice to be punished and consider this crime as genocide and to compensate the families of the martyrs and to ensure treating the wounded at the expense of the state. "
He explained that "the assigned Prime Minister must rid the security establishment of these elements and make a balance to ensure the participation of all and replace security leaders that have proved their failure in the province of Diyala."
