Suspects of the terrorist attack which targeted a popular market in Iraq's northern Diyala province last Friday have been arrested, said Iraqi Interior Minister Mohamed al Ghabban.
Probe will be held with the arrested terrorists and they will be referred to the relevant courts to impose the maximum legal sanctions against them, the military media at the Iraqi interior ministry said in a press release.
A small truck detonated in a crowded marketplace in the town of Khan Beni Saad Friday night, killing and injuring at least 240 people, including women and children, in one of the deadliest single attacks in the country in the past decade.
