
Iraqi President Fuad Masum chaired a meeting on Tuesday with Prime Minister Haider Al-Abadi and Parliament speaker Salim al-Jabouri to discuss latest developments at security and political levels.
Vice presidents, aides to the premier and the parliament speaker attended the meeting which was held in Masum's house, official sources said.
The meeting took up situation following the assassination of prominent Iraqi Sunni tribal leader Sheikh Qassem al-Janabi and his son, Mohammad.
National Alliance Force, one of two-Iraqi major Sunni groups at the parliament, announced on February 14, the withdrawal from the Iraqi national representative body.
