
Iraqi warplanes bombed on Saturday a Daesh headquarters in western Mosul city of Nineveh province, Media Adviser for the Iraqi Defense Ministry Nosir Nouri said in a statement.
The air strike led to the killing of scores of Daesh fighters, he added.
In a related context, The Iraqi security forces killed 31 Daesh militants in Baiji city of Salahuddin province, according to a security source.
Also, the Iraqi security troops destroyed a headquarters of Daesh in the city, the source added.
The source added that the Iraqi forces arrested two Daesh militants and detonated two car bombs and a third vehicle fitted with a single-machine gun.
