
The advisory council of the Islamic Educational, Scientific, Cultural Organization (ISESCO) has convened in Baku to prepare for the ministerial meeting in Muscat in November.
On the sidelines of the 3rd World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue, ISESCO Director General Dr Abdualziz Othmane Altwaijri told Egyptian reporters that the meeting tackled a cultural project for activating non-governmental organizations' role in this respect.
He urged education ministers to benefit from ISESCO strategy to develop means of bringing up children and honing their skills to cope with each state's development needs.
Meanwhile, he said ISESCO and Azhar will sign a cooperation deal soon on dispatching moderate preachers to disseminate the upright teachings of Islam.
