The Islamophobia Monitoring Observatory at Egypt's Dar al Ifta hailed the initiative by a number of imams in France to launch credible websites to shed light on the tolerance of Islam.
In a statement on Saturday, the observatory said that these efforts which are exerted by a number of imams in France aim to confront the extremist websites which present a wrong image of Islam.
The observatory, meanwhile, called for supporting these efforts, adding that the lack of capabilities stands as an obstacle before these new initiatives in France.
Meanwhile, Dar al Ifta announced that it contacts the Islamic institutions and organizations in France to present the necessary support to render these initiatives successful.
