Ismailia Governorate is ready to receive international delegations and guests of the opening ceremony of the new Suez Canal, slated for August 6.
The governorate launched a major campaign to raise the Egyptian flags on streets, squares and homes.
Flags were also raised heavily on streets leading to the new Suez Canal, along with banners of the new canal's logo.
Ismailia Governor Yaseen Taher said several ceremonies and artistic performances will be organized in conjunction with the opening ceremony.
All roads leading to the ceremony's site were completely developed, the governor added.
Egypt will inaugurate the New Suez Canal on August 6 in the presence of presidents, kings and high-level delegations from various countries.
The new canal will massively increase the capacity of the existing canal and offer an important opportunity to boost the country's economy.
