The Israeli police on Wednesday morning banned Arab Knesset members Hanien Zoghbi, Talab Abu Arar and Ibrahim Sarsour from proceeding towards Al-Qibli mosque while Jewish settlers were storming the holy mosque of Al-Aqsa.
Some Palestinian worshipers were injured in front of Heta gate when the Israeli forces opened tear gas bombs at them inside the mosque compound.
Meanwhile, Arab Knesset member Ibrahim Sarsour said via a phone call from inside Al-Aqsa mosque that the situation is "painful and sadening" after the Israeli occupants banned the worshipers from entering the mosque, urging Arabs to take action before it is too late.
He also called on the Palestinian Authority to take action as the Israelis are expanding their settlement activities
