Deputy Secretary-General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement Ziad al-Nakhala said Saturday the disagreement between Hamas and Fatah movements had badly affected the course of ceasefire negotiations in Cairo.
He added that such disagreement negatively affected the resumption of negotiations in Cairo, pointing out that the negotiation would not resume in case the media bickering between the two movements continued.
Egypt would not be interested in a new session of ceasefire negotiations if the two sides would not halt disputes and work for unifying efforts in order to fight for the Palestinian case, al-Nakhala concluded.
