Minister of State of Media Affairs and Communications Mohammed Al-Momani affirmed Jordan’s support to Egypt in all circumstances and to its efforts to fight terrorism that targets the security, stability and safety of its people and army, Petra News Agency reported.
"Jordan totally rejects all forms of violence and terrorism that target Egypt, regardless of their motives," Momani, who is also the Government spokesperson, said, adding that the Jordanian government supports the Egyptian government and people in fighting terrorism.
The minister also expressed Jordan’s condolences to the Egyptian government and families of the victims and wished the injured speedy recovery.
Egyptian military and security posts were attacked on Thursday by mortar rounds and car bombs, killing and wounding dozens.
