
Jordan has continued its diplomatic contacts and efforts for perpetuating the ceasefire agreement in Gaza.
Jordan's Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs Nasser Judeh received Wednesday a phone call from US Secretary of the State John Kerry to discuss latest developments of the Israeli aggression on Gaza.
Earlier, Judeh made a telephone conversation with Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah al-Khalid and Secretary General of the Arab League Nabil el-Arabi and discussed with them the situation in Gaza and the ongoing negotiations in Cairo to reach a sustainable ceasefire and address the impacts of the Israeli aggression on the coastal territory.
Judeh highlighted Jordan's efforts , as member of the UN Security Council, especially the draft resolution the Kingdom has submitted to the council and will be discussed later.
