Jordan severely condemned Friday the heinous terrorist attack carried out by extremists in Arish Thursday evening.
The attack targeted military sites in Arish killing 18 soldiers and conscripts and four civilians, and injuring 34 military personnel and civilians.
In statements, official spokesman for the Jordanian government Mohamed al Momny deplored this terrorist attack, stressing that Jordan supports Egypt in its war against terrorism.
The international community and regional parties should unite to face extremism that kill the innocent in Egypt, he noted.
The Jordanian government offered its heartfelt condolences to the Egyptian government, people, as well as families of the victims.
