Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour on Wednesday chaired a Cabinet session at the headquarters of the National Center for Security and Crises Management.
Ensour said that the Center was established through a royal directive to manage crises and disasters and ensure the highest level of coordination among all concerned departments.
He said the aim behind holding today's Cabinet session at the Center was to benefit from the Center's role in addressing various natural conditions and foreseeing social, economic and security crises that threaten national security.
The prime minister announced that a meeting of all the concerned departments will be held tomorrow to assess the experience of the Center during the recent snow storm.
During the session, the Cabinet agreed to create a government's accomplishment unit, linked directly with the prime minister, to follow up and support mega projects, initiatives and priorities of the government.
The Cabinet also approved today the air services agreement signed between Jordan and South Korea
