
The border guard troops received 226 Syrian refugees of both genders and various age groups over the past 72 hours, according to the Armed Forces' Moral Direction Directorate on Sunday.
The Jordanian border guard troops provided them with their basic needs and transported them to special camps.
Royal medical teams offered necessary aid to patients among them.
More than 630,000 Syrian refugees are registered with the UN High Commission for Refugees in the kingdom, while Jordanian officials estimate them as more than 1.4 million, including 750,000 already in Jordan before the incidents.
