
Jordanian Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh reiterated his country’s firm stance towards the crisis in Syria calling for the importance of reaching a political solution which guarantees the security and safety and territorial integrity of Syria with the participation of all spectrums of the Syrian people.
During his meeting with US Secretary of State John Kerry , Judeh stressed the importance of unifying efforts of all sides and the international community in facing the developments in Iraq that threaten the entire region, Jordan state News Agency, Petra reported .
The two sides also discussed the peace process and resuming the Palestinian-Israeli negotiations.
Kerry’s visit to Jordan came in the framework of his tour in the region, including Egypt.
