
A Jordanian aid convoy arrived in the Gaza Strip on Monday through Beit Hanoun border crossing to support the Palestinians in the besieged enclave.Commander of the Jordan Field Hospital “Gaza 28″ Colonel Mohammad Ali Hammouri told Petra that the three-truck convoy is laden with food items, clothes, humanitarian aid and supplies to sustain the work of the hospital.He said the convoy was sent as part of the efforts to implement the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II in coordination with the Armed Forces Crises Management Center and the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization to help the Palestinians in these difficult times.
