
Border Guards on the northern frontiers received 125 Syrian refugees from various age groups over the past 72 hours and provided them with the necessary aid before transferring them to refugee camps and shelters.
The Jordanian Royal Medical Services' personnel also administered first aid to the ill refugees, Petra News Agency reported on Sunday.
Jordan is one of the highest neighboring countries to receive Syrian refugees since the outbreak of the crisis in the Arab country.
Jordan is giving shelter to more than 630,000 Syrians who have fled four years of conflict in their country, and the number grows every day.
Syria has witnessed mass protests that turned into military confrontations against the regime of President Bashar al Assad, with scores of thousands of people fleeing to nearby countries.
