Jordanian border guards receive 984 Syrian refugees

Jordan's Border Guards received a total of 984 Syrian refugees over the past four days, a Jordan Armed Forces source said. The source added that the Armed Forces, mainly the border guards, were exerting tremendous efforts to prevent infiltration and smuggling attempts along the 378 kilometer stretch between Jordan and Syria. The guards also provide all forms of support to the refugees and transfer them to refugee camps, Jordan News Agency (Petra) reported.
