
Jordanian Minister for Foreign and Expatiate Affairs Nasser Judeh met here today with Algerian Foreign Minister Ramadan Lamamra to discussed bilateral relations and the latest developments in the region.During the meeting, the two sides underlined the depth and strength of relations between the two countries in various fields and the need to build on what has been accomplished, stressing the importance of continued coordination and communication on various issues of mutual interest to serve the joint Arab action.Judeh briefed his Algerian counterpart on the outcome of the meeting of the main Group of Friends of Syria, held in Paris yesterday and the first meeting of the Arab Peace Initiative Committee with U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry.He also stressed the importance of pooling efforts to convene the Geneva II Conference in order to find a political solution to the Syrian crisis. For his part, the Algerian Foreign Minister said there is a consensus about the basic matters between the two countries, adding that foundations and frameworks of bilateral relations exist. He called for the expansion and revitalization the prospects for cooperation, especially with regard to the private sector in both countries.
