
Minster of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs, Nasser Judah, discussed, on Saturday, with the foreign ministers of members states in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), the exceptional conditions facing a number of Arab countries.
The meeting was held on the sidelines of 69th session of the UN General Assembly.
Judah briefed the meeting on the Palestinian issue and the Palestinian people's right to establish a sovereign state and the suffering of the people in Gaza as a result of the recent Israeli offensive on the coastal territory.
The meeting also tackled the Syria crisis and the growing terror's danger in Iraq and other countries. Judeh told the meeting that "defaming of our religion and culture constitutes a serious threat to region's security and stability".
He also said that Jordan suffered from terrorism but has unwavering will to fight it in collaboration with the international community and defeat terrorist groups, stressing the need for a unified Arab and Muslim stance to confront radical groups.
He highlighted Islam's values which promote tolerance, peace, and respect of diversity and safeguarding human dignity.
