Jordan's King Abdullah II has courageously taken the lead in fighting terrorism, former Jordanian prime minister Taher al-Masri said on Tuesday.
In a speech at a political party headquarter, al-Masri said the martyrdom of pilot Moath al-Kasasbeh was a significant turning point in the political life in the kingdom, as it showed that all Jordanians stood united behind their leader for the sake of their country's peace and security.
The Jordanian monarch is working on forming a political strategy that copes with regional and international developments, the former premier said.
