
Jordanian King Abdullah II left here on Saturday for Riyadh leading a high-ranking delegation to offer condolences to Saudi King Salman ben Abdel Aziz and the Saudi royal family on the demise of late Saudi King Abdallah ben Abdel Aziz.
A statement released by the Jordanian Royal Court said King Abdullah II is accompanied by Prince Faisal ben Hussein, Prince Rashid ben Al Hassan, Prime Minister Abdullah Al Nasour, Head of the Hashmite Royal Court Fayez Al Tarawenah, and other top officials.
The Jordanian monarch on Friday voiced deep sorrow over the Saudi king's death and praised his march in the service of the Arab and Islamic nations.
Jordan has announced a 40-day mourning over the Saudi king's death and flags were ordered to be at half mast for three days.
