
Jordanian King Abdullah II affirmed on Monday his country's support to Libya so as to restore its security as well as stability and to fight terrorist organizations that target the unity of its people and territories.
The monarch's remark came during his meeting with the General Command of the Libyan Army Khalifa Haftar who is currently visiting Jordan, according to a statement issued by the Jordanian Royal Court.
The two sides probed the latest regional developments especially that in Libya as well as efforts exerted to combat extremism.
The meeting, which was attended by a number of high-level Jordanian officials and the delegation accompanying the Libyan leader, took up means of promoting joint cooperation especially in the military field.
