
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates' Affairs on Saturday cautioned Jordanians against traveling to Libya where violence had recently surged dramatically.
In a statement, the ministry called on those Jordanians residing in Libya, whose presence is not essential to leave the North African country as soon as possible and to exercise maximum caution due to the emerging situation there.
It asked the Jordanian community to contact the country's embassy for any queries on the number 00218916610595, and call 0096265735166 or 0096265735150 for emergencies.
