
The Lower House Speaker, Atef Tarawneh, on Sunday, received more cables of condolences from his counterparts, heads of parliaments of Arab and friendly countries, expressing their sincere condolences and sympathy to the people of Jordan over the death of the hero pilot, Muath Kasasbeh, who was murdered recently by Daesh terrorist organization.
Tarawneh received cables from Speaker of Bahrain's Parliament, Ahmed bin Ibrahim Rashid Al Mulla, the president of the Cypriot parliament, Yiannakis Omirou, and the Secretary General of the Parliamentary Union of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) member states, Mahmud Erol Kilic, expressing their condemnation of this heinous crime, which is incompatible with the laws and customs of heavenly religions.
They also stressed their support to Jordan's efforts, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, to fight this terrorist gang, noting that this crime will step up the war against terrorism and extremism in all its forms.
